Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Launches with Dimensity 7350 Plus, 50MP Selfie Camera, and 50W Charging

The highly anticipated Nothing Phone (2a) Plus has officially launched, boasting impressive upgrades over its predecessor. The highlight of this new release is the Dimensity 7350 Plus chipset, an enhanced version of the Dimensity 7200 Pro. This custom-built chip, developed in collaboration with MediaTek, promises a 10% faster CPU performance and a 30% boost in GPU-intensive tasks.

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus also introduces a remarkable 50MP front-facing camera, a significant upgrade from the 32MP camera on the Phone (2a). This new camera supports 4K video recording at 30fps, ensuring superior selfie quality. The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen (FHD+ 120Hz) retains its punch-hole design, housing the advanced selfie camera. The rear setup remains the same with a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide lens.

Additionally, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus comes equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 50W wired charging, offering faster and more efficient charging compared to the 45W support in the previous model. On the software side, it runs on Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14, featuring unique additions like ChatGPT integration and a News Reporter Widget.

Available in two new color options, metallic Grey and updated Black, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus starts at $399/£399 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Pre-orders are open today on nothing.tech. The device will be available in the US starting August 7 at 9 AM ET through Nothing’s US Beta Program. In India, it will be priced at INR 27,999 ($334) for the 8/256GB version and INR 29,999 ($358) for the 12/256GB variant, available on Flipkart from August 7.
