Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy S24 FE is expected to make its debut this week, and new leaks have revealed the US pricing ahead of the official launch. According to a report by SmartPrix, citing tipster OnLeaks, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will see a price jump compared to last year’s model.
The base 128GB model of the Galaxy S24 FE is rumored to retail for $649, while the 256GB variant will be priced at $709. This marks a $50 increase from the Galaxy S23 FE, which launched at $599 last year.
Expected Specs and Features
The Galaxy S24 FE is said to feature a larger 6.7-inch display, making it the biggest screen in the Fan Edition series so far. Under the hood, it’s expected to be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or the Exynos 2400, the same processors found in the flagship Galaxy S24 series.
However, reports suggest the Exynos 2400 chip in the S24 FE could have a slightly lower clock speed, approximately 100MHz slower than the one in the regular Galaxy S24. The Snapdragon variant, which will likely be available in the US, may also be an underclocked version.
Camera Setup
In terms of camera performance, the Galaxy S24 FE is expected to retain a similar setup to the Galaxy S23 FE. This includes a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP telephoto lens, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies.
With its premium specs and slight price hike, the Galaxy S24 FE is gearing up to be another strong contender in Samsung’s Fan Edition lineup, offering a near-flagship experience at a more affordable price point.
