Calling all tech enthusiasts! Realme has officially announced the launch date for its highly anticipated smartphone, the Realme GT 6T. Mark your calendars because this powerful mid-ranger is set to arrive in India on Wednesday, May 22nd, at 12:00 noon IST.
The Realme GT 6T boasts the title of India’s first smartphone powered by the all-new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. This chipset promises impressive performance, as evidenced by its Antutu score exceeding 1.5 million. Realme even claims it’s a “flagship Qualcomm processor for peak gaming performance,” although there are undeniably more powerful options from Qualcomm.
A leaked Geekbench listing suggests the GT 6T will come equipped with 12GB of RAM, further solidifying its position as a capable performer.
Design and Additional Specs (Based on Realme GT Neo6 SE)
While Realme hasn’t revealed all the GT 6T’s specifications yet, the first official image offers some clues. The design appears strikingly similar to the Realme GT Neo6 SE, a phone launched in China with the same Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. This leads to speculation that the two devices might be essentially identical.
Based on the GT Neo6 SE, we can expect the GT 6T to sport a large 6.78-inch LPTO AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the phone will likely be a long-lasting 5,500mAh battery that supports blazing-fast 100W charging. The software side is expected to be handled by Realme UI 5.0, running on the latest Android 14 operating system.
