nubia Unveils Z60S Pro and Z60 Ultra with Enhanced AI and Camera Capabilities

nubia has launched the Z60S Pro and Z60 Ultra Leading Version, marking a significant advancement in smartphone technology. The Z60 Ultra, powered by an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, boasts a prime Cortex-X4 CPU core clocked at 3.4GHz and a boosted GPU by 1GHz. This new chipset enhances AI performance, allowing the device to handle on-device AI models with up to ten billion parameters.

The Z60 Ultra features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, coupled with an under-display 12MP selfie camera that now includes a new enhancement algorithm for clearer selfies. The rear cameras are enhanced with the NeoVision AI Photography System 2.0, including a new Sony 9 series sensor for the 35mm main shooter, an 18mm ultrawide lens with a larger aperture, and a 64MP periscope with added AI telephoto capabilities.

Running on Android 14 with MyOS 14, the Z60 Ultra is equipped with a 6,000 mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging. It is available in Black and Silver, starting at $649/€729/£649, with pre-orders open today and sales beginning on August 12.

The Z60S Pro, the successor to the Z50S Pro, retains its predecessor’s key specs with upgrades. It features a larger sensor for the 35mm main camera and new AI features like Magic Eraser and a star sky algorithm. The 8MP telephoto and 50MP ultrawide lenses remain, alongside the 6.8-inch AMOLED display.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the Z60S Pro offers up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It also has a 5,100 mAh battery with 80W charging. Available in Black, Aqua, and White, it starts at $569/€669/£569, with pre-orders available today and sales starting on August 12.
