Apple is rumored to be developing a groundbreaking tabletop robot device as it seeks to expand its presence in the smart home market. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, this innovative device, expected to launch as early as 2026, will feature an iPad-style display mounted on a robotic arm capable of spinning 360 degrees.
The device is designed to control various smart home devices, facilitate video conferences, and even serve as a home security monitor. Powered by a customized version of iPadOS, the device will reportedly integrate seamlessly with Siri and Apple Intelligence, offering users a futuristic and versatile smart home experience.
This ambitious project is said to be led by Kevin Lynch, the executive previously in charge of the now-discontinued Apple car project, Project Titan. Although the expected starting price is around $1,000, it’s important to note that these details are based on rumors, and the final product may differ.
